DRESS CODE
Dancewear should never be too baggy or oversized. It’s important that the dancer has freedom to move without distraction and that the teacher can easily see the body lines to make adjustments for proper alignment and technique.
For ballet, hair must always be worn in a bun. For all other classes, hair must be tidy and pulled away from the face in a high pony or other style suitable to hair length.
Dance shoes are important class attire. We ask that all students protect their property by labeling all shoes on the inside with the student’s full name. Do not wear your shoes outside of the dance studio; this will prevent damage to the dance shoes and flooring.
Take care to wear proper clothing over your dancewear when coming to or leaving the studio.
Additional costumes to be purchased for performance opportunities – information to be given at a later date.
